Just bought game.....is UO4.life still a thing?

Looks like I may have just accidently purchased a dead game. If there is a good group of active people I sure would appreciate a nudge in the right direction and an invite. I am one of those PVE type so I mostly stick to crafting. So far I am really enjoying it but it looks to be a ghost town on the US Server.

Join LegendsOfultima community server, is where this game really bright.
developers are 1 month away to publish the original ultima online map, that is the reason to low population as people are waiting, also is really good time to raise skills as will be no wipe

I hope the game doesn't make you pay 20$ more for Ultima Server or lock you out of content or that's gonna kill the community server I'd imagine (referring to this abomination of an expansion the developer announced).

Legends of Ultima server is what us oldschool UO fans are loving. I support it on patreon but you can play for free.

I don't know as of when but currently 10/19/2020 you must have the citizen pass ($20.00 USD) in order to play on the Legends of Ultima community server.

you can us join the folks over in the town of helm. I mostly craft myself, bout to get some land up. Normally I stream when I play though. Yes, even mining for hours. ;p

It's been abandoned for some time. Another story of an early access dev team snookering an intellecutaly deficient player-base, and taking their money early-on and bailing on it.

well, cant say i havent been expecting this news. gonna be amusing to see how they gonna scam people this time. they forgot one crucial thing from the con artists manual tho, and that is to change their identites and company name.. or are they hoping for their reputation to carry the new game?

Hmm, just tried logging into the game for the first time in ages, there were NO official servers listed, only 2 open servers, and one was the UO one. When I clicked to enter it, I was told free accounts are not able to access open servers, so I have to buy the game to access it!

How the heck can I do that with a ftp game???

you need to buy the "citizen pass", but i strongly recomend against it as the whole game is a scam from the start and who knows how long the servers will b up-

So, to access a community-created server, I'd have to pay £15.99 to developers who aren't even maintaining their own official servers any more?? Um, hard pass!
