How to level Healing?

Im using healing magic and its not going up

so is it eating or higher lvl healing that raises this "Healing" skill? you guys are confusing me.

With damage magic I had to get a higher level spell to level it. You can buy them or learn Inscription to make them. I assume its the same with healing magic though I havent worked out yet where to get tattered scrolls for the higher level spells.

Are you talking about Manifestation?



30-35: Heal
35-45: Teleport
45-55 (up to 65): Greater Heal
55-65: Mark
65-75 (up to 90): Cloak
75-85: Portal
85-100: Ward Evil

there is a skill that is literally called "healing" just like there is that skill "manifestation". I am using manifestation healing ability though and i was under the impression that this ability would lvl the skill "healing"

Use bandages then. Bandages also levels vigor.

If you are using manifestation to heal, you need to raise your manifestation skill. If that is no longer gaining skill by casting the heal spell you need to cast more difficult spells to make your manifestation gain as the list posted above suggests which spells to cast for gains and at what skill level to cast them.

healing as a skill gets leveled with bandages...

greater healing is a spell and has nothing to do with it!

you can buy scroll to put the spells into your spellbook or find them as loot from monsters

Healing physically requires 2 skills to be any good. Vigor and healing. At gm you will heal for 256 a pop. If poisoned you only heal for half that. After 60 skill in both you will also cure the poison. After 80 you can rez others. Also you only heal other players for half of self heals. 8 second delay between heals but it is an instant effect.
