Is it possible to play this game via choiceofgames website if I already bought it here on steam?

I did try to "restore purchase" from steam by clicking "Restore purchases from Steam" thinking it'd allow me to play it via https://www.choiceofgames.com/runt-of-the-litter/ but it doesn't seem to work. I simply don't want to buy the game for the second time to play it when I have free time at work. It says "{"error":"Invalid Claimed ID: https://steamcommunity.com/openid/id/76561198039464610"}" when I try to connect choiceofgames with steam.
