Tutorial bugged (using Oculus Rift)?

Has anybody tried the tutorial? I can't get past the part that says to press A or X. I caught the boomerang fish, I grabbed it, the tutorial avatar tells me to press A or X (to see the fish's special ability) and I do, but nothing happens. I have pressed A and X and every button combination I can think of and nothing happens. I even tossed the boomerang fish hoping it would do something. Any help out there?

Not sure what the dev did but I simply restarted the game on another day and was able to get past the tutorial.

I'm currently having an issue with the tutorial. It hasn't actually given us any instructions on how to play the game, and the only thing the game is letting us do is get stuck fishing on the one dock, and cannot teleport or exit the tutorial.
