hook and line vanished.....

my kids were playing this and the hook and line has vanished, no way of getting it back. Not sure if i can refund but probably going to try.

Ok so my Daughter managed to get the hook back but now the bait will not stick to it.

She says it bugged out during the tutorial. Now its stuck on the "bait hook" part of the Tutorial and as we can't we can't progress.

Is there any way to reset game data? I can't locate a save file. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work.

No. The fishing part of the game is unplayable. We cannot play the tutorial as the bait will not stick and we cannot progress. Is there no way to reset the data? Even uninstalling doesn't work.... it just carries on..

Kids had fun just exploring the world but it would be nice if they could fish.

We will find a way to hard reset the game for you. Sorry for the inconvenience, we want to get you fishing as soon as possible!

I am also having this and i've only had the game for a day. My kids played it a few hours yesterday/today and when I got home from work the line is up in the air with no hook. When I sometimes use the left thumbstick to rotate the view the hook comes back but I can't put bait on it.
I've tried uninstalling the game and deleting everything under D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Crazy Fishing

When I re-installed still nothing.

Yup. Nothing fixes it. I've given up.

Just fixed it.
Deleted the contents of C:\Users\tobyh\AppData\LocalLow\Ruby Wings
then reinstalled game

replace "tobyh" with your appropriate username in windows

I lost my game data, but since I have only had it a few hours it doesn't matter. Clearly their save files get corrupted.

im not sure if i am being ignorant but do you mean delete all the files, uninstall, then reinstall? sorry if i do not understand.
