Can't get "garage key" as basement is all chained up

Started playing Visage today and Delores was the first chapter i played. My issue is that I cannot access the Garage as I don't have the key. Apparently the "garage key" is behind the locked basement door. I have the "basement key" but I can't use it on the basement door because the basement door is all chained up.

I'm at the point where I've returned from the circle of mirrors and the car alarm is sounding.

Is this a bug or am I doing something really silly?

Wow...this game is a buggy mess! I reloaded to an earlier save so I could get into the basement using the "basement key", that is, before the chains appear on that door, and now I'm stuck in the small room that leads to the garage. One door in this small room needs the "garage key" which I don't have yet, and the other door is broken; that is, it opens a tiny bit and then slams shut in my face.

I did purchase the actual released game right, and not some pre-release alpha work in progress?

@SadSquare team, can I please get a refund on my purchase? The game is unplayable in its current state.

I'd be happy to provide the save files to you for you to troubleshoot these issues (if you tell me how).

SadSquare, the worst game support-team. Also the name is totally stupid. The same thing happened once before in The Beast Inside by MovieGames. Not all players use these Discord-nonsense.
