Where is the storage room?

I am searching for an hour now but can`t find this room. I need my hammer back, without it I can`t progress in the game. Is it the room with the blue curtain? I know it has to be in the basement somewhere, I went through the mirror next to the garage door but still can`t find the storage room nor the hammer...

You're correct, it's in the basement, across from the closet. When you go through the mirror next to the garage and exit into the basement, go straight, then left around the corner (you should be passing the area with the tv and couch), make a right after passing that area, and the storage room will be on your left. I hope this helps.

Thanks but I uninstalled the game already. It's so dark in the game that I can't see anything anymore. My lighters and tablets are empty because I've been looking for the hammer for too long (maybe an hour...). The controls and the inventory system are just bad.
