I beat the early access portion in around 2.5 hours but still have to find some of the hidden collectables and some hidden secrets, so that may extend the gameplay. It also depends on how extensively you search the environments and how quickly you can figure out where to go in some of the "puzzle" sequences.

Anyway, I'm not sure I want to play this game, I mean I want to, but the comments I've read about it...I don't know lol, I don't know if my heart can handle it :P.
I guess 3 hours of great scare + finding all collecables and secrets, it sounds good to me

First time I played it it took me 3 sittings of 2 hours a piece so a total of 6 hours. Then it took me about 3 hours and could probably go a little faster yet now that I know where everything is.

I conveniently found everything easily till the part with the jaw... but 3 hours is long like over exaggeration status With the paranormal events and scary dark areas its make it longer than it actually is... however upto the part with the jaw it literally dropped the ball for me there's areas where the sanity system doesn't work by design choice which i find annoying. why did i save pills for ghost to instakill me while I'm 100% sane? Perhaps sanity system if they dont know what they are doing they should just ditch altogether IDK why so many devs ignore the ingame characters mental health its such a potentially GREAT mechanic... like I can already see how this game could benefit greatly from it similar to amnesia...

Is it so hard to understand that you don't want to go insane OR get killed by very obvious supernatural beings chasing you?

Just because you're fully sane doesn't mean the boogeyman in front of you isn't going to murder you
