Game is too cryptic.

Just completed the game, experience was okaish..........unfortunately. This could have been a masterpiece, but the severe lack of hints to complete tasks, forces you to run inside the house for HOURS, check and re-check every room to death, to discover what has changed

"Uhmm, what am i missing...let's go again in the garage for the 99th time....no there's nothing here..let's try upstairs........nope.....let's go to the basement......"

/repeat. Until you have the luck and find out randomly, something you barely seen before, because was too tiny or too dark before.

This is not leads to fun, but boringness and frustration. Also ending is too rushed and chopped off.

Reviews gave too much votes to this game, to me it's a 7.2/10 at most.



P.P.S: Next time, at least add some damn soundtracks, musical themes or whatever in the background.....

You've forgot to mention the too complicated keyboard controls for left hand, right hand and the missing customer support for players who encountered massive bugs or other issues. And what for is the 0.2 behind the 7 ? That doesn't deserve the development.

Ahaha, well so 7 / 10. For some parts the game was enjoyable anyway. Btw, i played it on PS5 and loading times were not even optimized. Game loads like is installed on an old mechanical hdd.

There are hints as to what to do or where to go. However, most people overlook them (sometimes after even commenting on the clue, but then ignore it). Just gotta be super observant in the game, especially in chapter 1 (Lucy's chapter).

The official Visage Discord is read by the devs and there's a channel specifically for reporting bugs in there.

Also, for me, I didn't find the controls for left and right hands to be that difficult or confusing. Personally, I found them rather intuitive, honestly.

The moment I would get frustrated, I would immediately figure out the hints that were in plain sight. For example, I went a good share of the game wondering where to find the strange paintings, only to figure out that they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ told you exactly their location on of the video tapes! I left feeling that whenever I couldn't figure something out, it was my own fault for not carefully paying attention to the clues.

Game is great. Definitely best horror title since Amnesia.

As well as the best supported game. If all games would be supported it this way, i wouldn't have played a game since many years.

i sadly gave up on finishing this because the endless searching just got to me. it was too much to go back and forth wondering what i was supposed to find or do and was just frustrating to me. the jump scares wore off so fast when i just kept getting killed over and over trying to find one single thing that i couldnt find. 1 chapter was enough for me and i dont think i can bring myself to try it again unless some form of direction gets brought to the game. others may say people arnt paying enough attention but its just too obscure for me to play. had spent about 6 hours or so just to complete 1 chapter...

yeah I wasn't impressed with the experience and the random guesswork involved and the controls were worse. I struggled on for awhile before finally giving up - it wasn't acutally fun and the controls took that frustration with the bad hints and pushed it over the line for me
