True terror
"Visage is a psychological horror game. This means that it's not the typical jump-scare fest we see these days. (It’s not that we don't like these types of games. We do. But we also wish there were more horror games that try to generate fear primarily through atmosphere and by getting inside your head.) You can expect to feel true terror created by a very dark, realistic atmosphere and the presence of entities you wish you’d never seen."
There are jump-scares in the game but they're VERY infrequent and aren't abrasively loud like in Five Nights at Freddy's.
Thank you for this post. I vary much appreciate it. But what is your person opion on the game?
There are some notable problems but I'm convinced that these developers are dedicated and will be doing their best to make the game as polished as possible once it finally releases. The game is also going to increase in price once it leaves early access (likely to $30) so you potentially save $10 if you buy it now. Otherwise there's no problem with waiting until it leaves early access. Watch some gameplay / trailers online if you're curious.
