The Cat Lady, Downfall, and Lorelai are part of the Devil Came Through Here trilogy.

The Cat Lady is the fan-favorite of the trilogy (I personally prefer Downfall). Lorelai is pretty good too :)

Chronologically, The Cat Lady is first, then Downfall, and it ends with Lorelai. All three stories are fairly independent though, even though they share the same universe.

I would still recommend to play those in the chronological order, as you might miss several references if you don't.

I sometimes think, It'd be cool to forget everything about the games and then approach them in a different order. You encounter some reference in one of these games and think 'What was that all about?', then you play the next one and go like 'ooooohh'.

Still, I also endorse to go through the games in a chronological order. I mean, some of these references might just spoil events in the previous games in a way.
