Steam needs to remove the "MULTIPLAYER" tag to this game. It is impossible to play multiplayer in a host server. I bought this game and gifted it to 4 different people thinking we were gonna all have so much fun and turns out multiplayer part of this game has been broken for years and known for it all over the internet. No one has a definitive answer or solution. Multiple reddit discussion talk about the issue. The developpers should refund this damned game and put it in the garbage. Remove it from the steam store instead of scamming people into buying an unplayable game...

Would not buy.

I liked the game, it had potential. Essentially Ark without the glitchy terrain and easier building and progression. However, thats about were the good news ends.

The game lacks thought from a player perspective first of. Whoever decided to have humans climb one block while dinos can glide up them clearly never played it. The instant you hit something it takes off like ark, unlike ark however, you cannot move around the terrain fast do to the horrible jumping. So you cannot out chase or run anything that is up or down hills (the entire game is) because it will just run 10x faster than you because they dont get stuck one block at a time. Apart from mechanics, the games lacking in any good code.

The game is riddled with bugs just like ark that will never be fixed. This one in particular feels like a mobile budget Chinese knock off of Ark. While many bugs arent game breaking they are insanely annoying, not to mention that many aspects of the game are unfinished. There are items with different icons, yet the same name.

For example,
Item: Chitin
Icon: of Chitin
InGame Name: Chitin
Tool Tip:..... just says "Chitin"

Another Item: Chitin Paste
Icon: Paste
InGame Name: Chitin
Tool Tip: Can be used as an adhesive. Has a wide range of uses.

??? How do you have items that have missing, incorrect, not complete text? You remaking a game you couldnt at MINIMUM copy the text from Ark?? Its insanity. Stay away from anything and everything Snail Games or Wildcard Studios ever touches. Ark SE - Failure and abandoned, Ark ASA - Failure and abandoned, Ark II - delay, delay, abandoned?

I enjoy Ark, and I enjoy Minecraft but I didn’t enjoy this. The main reason? Bugs and glitches that hinder progression and create frustrating inconveniences, making it feel like a waste of time. Simply that. Given the lack of effort in fixing long-standing issues in Ark, and now this. I’ll be holding off on future releases until I see a shift in priorities via the community reviews.

This game is so bad after 10 hours game completely broke the whole world turns pitch black and you cannot see a thing i tried for 5 hours trying to fix but still glitched to this day i uninstalled and never will reinstall.

Ark, but 10x worse. The movement is bad, and the combat is bad. I tried to play this game multiple times but never managed to have any fun with it. Can't even place multiple blocks without it being weird. Plus the whole concept of how easily tamed dinos die to wild ones is *very* annoying.

I don't like Snail games. Any game that Snail games is involved with, should NOT be instantly bought, but scrutinized thoroughly before giving the "cash grab, game abandoning kings of development" any of your hard earned money.


UPDATE: AS I SAID, ANY AND ALL SNAIL GAMES SHOULD BE SCRUTINIZED. There isn't an email address in the world that can "fix that bug". Unless you can remove Snail games that is.

this game sucks

The block placement is wonky. The hit boxes are awful. This version I'm playing has a 100 of these Nian creatures or whatever they are which takes away from the game play because all you do is battle just to move in the game because the hit boxes are crappy. To me it is the least favorite games that I've ever played!!!

trash, dont buy it. My friend convinced me to buy this and we played it like 2 times lmao
