How to carry oil to base?
Found alarge lake of oil underground in a desert, how do i carry it to base?
building a pipeline is not an option as its on the other end of the map and i have to jump through a portal to get there

To get oil you have to either build an extractor and pipe oil out of the lake, similar to water. Or you can tame Petroleum Slimes and build them a tank. In both cases you craft oil barrels from copper and leather that you can then fill with oil.

It's far more simpler to tame some dung beetles.
Make an enclosure, set them to wonder, give them poop.

Tame a Phomia and feed it stim berrys it forces it to poop every time it does that 2 poop.

I am very curious about this. Has anyone tested to see if the beetles give more oil than the slimes in the tanks? I would think the slimes would work best but you never can tell.

Well there are multiple ways. Including theres always Oil located nearby if you dig down enough. As Oil spawns pretty commonly below even outside of deserts.

Another idea would just be to get a flying mount like a quetzal, argy or any others to attack Petroloium slimes. If you have a higher yield from drops then this is more fruitful

Most upgraded flyers (above the ptre) have more carry room on em. Gargoyl do not need a saddle and are not hard to tame if you know how to solo tame flyers.

. Can tame petrol slimes, stuff them in an inucbator for them.. (lvl 60ish made) feed them charcoal with barrels inside.. done. If it is a super friendly pve server and your not level yet, could ask for assistance making one. Am tempted to be a jerk and tell you to buld a minetrack all the way to portal but, really have no idea if it would go through and if it did.. what would happen to it on the other side :X Maybe cause blackholes? :P

I havent tested the beetles, only know slimes do pump oil out quickly (with 4 slimes in)
