This is how you solo tame a Quetzal

I've seen a bit of discussion about solo players trying to tame Quetzals, so I wanted to show you all how it's done.

I wanted to let everyone know that I happend to stumble across an unconsious quetzal lying on the ground in the snowy biome twice so far this weekend. I have no idea what could be causing this to happen, but for now this greatly increases the chances for single players to acquire a questzal without too much hulabaloo. I found both of mine not too far from the frozen ice castle areas.

Quite possibly stunned by lightning. Other people mentioned seeing Dino's inexplicably unconscious either during or shortly after a storm.

I've seen one of those big blue paracers lying on the ground, KO'd, while I was flying through a storm. No players around either, not they'd have wasted tons of sleepy arrows on a passive tame anyway.

Saw a quetz spawn in and immediately drop unconscious the other day and it wasn't during a storm. It was, however, right on top of a high-level ancient lotus. I kinda figured that somehow during the spawning, the plant managed to knock it out.
