Unlocking Tek Tier on standard map

Hi all,

New to Pixark - late to the party :) Just researching maps to play on, and was trying to understand can you unlock the Tek Tier on the standard map, or is it Skyward only?

You need tek cubes to lvl up tek tier, and thoses can only be crafted with drops from aliens and robots, found only in skyward maps. But in offical you can travel to a skyward map. If you really want to lvl up tek tier, i suggest to move to skyward map and make base there. You can always travel to an island map.
