Harvesting meat.

Anyone else have to hit a meat cube like 70 times to get barely any leather? Even dodos take forever to harvest from.

Hmm, that is strange. What tool are you using? Are you playing solo, official servers, or unofficial servers?

Solo. No difference between wood and stone axe or pickaxe. takes forever, and stays the same regardless of harvest health. I only get like 4 leather or meat every 15 swings. All settings are on default.

I got the same problem. Even creatures take way longer than they are used to.

Yep. I don't get it. Everything else about the game, generally speaking, is decent enough, but this alone makes me exit every single time. That and the pop up tutorials at the beginning that tell you what buttons to press, my mouse died, and the mouse I'm using has no middle click, so when it says "MMB to change view" I have to play with that on the screen the entire time, even if i change the key binding for change view.

If you look at the settings when you hit reset to default it sets harvest health to 10.0 instead of 1.0. Just set it back to 1 and its all good.

ok, i thought it might be intentional and left it at 10.

My issue with that was solved after I got a dino or just a better axe
