How to enable creator mode on multiplayer?

Need to be able to view the map and creator mode lets you do this, but I've yet to figure out how to enable this online.

you can't on official servers. you could load the map seed into singleplayer and do it, then use that seed to start your server map if you own the server though

How do I find the seed? I run an unofficial server. Thanks for response btw
