Are zombie hearts really this rare?

i've been killing about... 2, maybe 300 zomies now, tried all sorts of methods. killing by hand, by mount, with a sword, with a wand, with a gun, etc etc. i've never gotten a single zombie heart to build my second wand. however i've gotten about 15 plauge hearts and dozens of skeleton items (the item named skeleton.. basicly the skele version of the heart)

am i doing something wrong? they cant possibly be this stupidly rare.. its annoying enough finding zombies that arnt being instantly swarmed by spectre wolves, soul reapers and werewolves (why are zombies and skeletons hostle to other dark woods creaters, anyway?)

im aware of this. out of the dozens of chests i've gotten from zombies, i've never gotten anything but useless certificates from them. or rarely some ancient bone pieces

You need to kill the normal zombies not the plague ones. I got 2 hearts by killing 10/15 zombies with my ptera

i've killed hundreds of normal zombies and dozens of plague zombies, countless skeletons. i feel like you guys are missing that point =/

Actually, they are. I killed like hundreds raptors already and just yesterday recieved in loot raptor claw. Didn't know it really exists. Guess zombies have the same problem.

Indeed I suspect this is the case. I've killed at least a couple hundred dilos and never gotten the venom stuff that you use to make the blinding arrows.

so i spent another 4 hours today flying around the various dark woods i've found, killing zombies and skeletons and plague zombies. i lost co unt of how many i've killed but i've filled 4 large storage chests with leather, several more with skeleton drops.. 32 more plague hearts, 15 'skeletons' but not a single zombie heart

Yes, they're super rare, I've killed literally hundreds of zombies and gotten 1 heart. If you're farming for a wand, you're better off raiding the desert temples or the ice castles and find yourself a wand.

p.s. wands can also drop in purple and higher supply crates.

Yeah, the drop chance of some stuff is really low, lost count on all the moles and goblins i killed for their drops, with raptor, argent and pegasus i probably got lucky. Turtle shells drop constantly though.

Zombie hearts on the other hand, although i didnt get any from normal zombies, i got 2 from ruin zombies, and i only killed a couple of them, maybe they have an increased drop rate.
