PixARK
How to change map seed for dedicated server?
A friend of mine is renting a server with Nitrado. The map we got on the server sux so bad.

I'm wondering if I could change map seed and regenerate the map. If it's possible to do it then which file should I go for?

Your best bet is to generate maps in single player, until you find one suitable. Then copy it to your server. Otherwise, it's pretty likely you'll be missing biomes you need.

Do you know which file is the one that contains map seed?
Never mind, I found a few.

TearOfGalaxy, would you mind sharing the file locations you've found for this please?

Yeah I am on Nitrado too. I've been originally looking for a perfect map.
(Looked through 30-40 maps before i found the perfect one).
If you find a good map just add "_1" to the folder to keep it stored.

There is also the enablecheat <insert admin pass>
Then you can use the disable fog of war command while you cycle through the server.

Pixark - ShooterGame - Saved:
CubeSingle for Singleplayer (something named similar to that)
CubeServers for Multiplayer
SavedArks (If you want to transfer characters)

The path way of singleplayer is: Steam\steamapps\common\PixARK\ShooterGame\Saved\CubeSingles\CubeWorld_Light

For server it should be PixARK\ShooterGame\Saved\CubeServers\CubeWorld_Light

But there's an issue here.

I copied the whole map folder and all the files inside from the server to my local game folder. Then I launched PixARK and revealed the whole map with Creative mode. However the map I got on singlerplayer was completely different from the map I got on the server. Same files, but different maps.

I don't know how this happened, and I don't know how to fix this.

Check the seed number in the World.ini file, which is in the map folder. There's a good chance the seed is different. But that's another problem, and not 100% sure how to fix it.

World.ini file is included in the map folder, and the seed is written inside. This is what confuses me the most.

After trying this method, i've found it doesn't work at all :)
server simply reverts to old terrain.db and seed
