how do i fill a water bag?

how do i fill a water bag. i go in the water but it just wont fill.

Same way you would in ark I'd assume. Hotbar, click the button on the hotbar, it will fill.

u must be in 2block deep water.

i am and i click on the botle but it wont fill, should it?

Fully submerge yourself in the water, and have the item in your hotbar and click whatever button it is on

It doesn't fill for me either and i play single player. Odds are it is just a bug, and it will be fixed in a future patch. The game is early access and just came out only 5 days ago. Expect to run into bugs. Devs usually have a bug report feed on their forums or within the steam discussions. I recommend that the OP bring this to light on the bug report post and SPECIFY if it is happening in Multiplayer or Singleplayer.

I have however noticed that you can access the inventory of a Water Tap like in Ark with the "F" key. Open the inventory on that in insert your Water Bag, it will fill to full.

And yea maybe it's a single player bug...if it doesnt work...try maybe doing an irigation system and when you put Tap you can put your canteen in and they are filling automatically

You have to completley submerge yourself in water. I put my bag on number 7 and when i was underwater i pressed the 7 key and it filled up XD

I have only ever played single player and I could fill my water bag in 2 deep. it would highlight somewhat when it became valid to fill it up, then just click on the hotbar number and it would fill. I have not had any issues filling it and have done so 10 or more times.
