How to host non-dedicated server?
Is there any way to host own server on my pc just for me and friend to play together on "private" server? And if it be the in Creator Mode maybe, to test some things out?

I do not think non dedicated is an option at this time. However if you have a strong PC you could attempt hosting a dedicated on your local machine.

It is fairly cheap to rent a 10 slot server for about $12 a month. $12 USD a month is only about .40 a day. I'm not plugging them by any means, but I use GPortal and it's simple easy to setup.

Good to know, but im not really gonna pay half of the price I paid for the acctual game to just play with friend for 2/3 days on own server to just test raiding "mechanics". But thanks for the tip

I'm still waiting for that option, creating your own server is not working for a lot of people.
I've got the feeling that they just made copy-paste of ark removing that IMPORTANT option xd.

It's understandable if money is an issue for you. I pay about $60USD a month for a server. I have run many games on it in the past and it's well worth it if you have the disposable income.

GPortal is one I would highly recommend against. In a month I've had my server. IN the past 4 days total my server has crashed 5 times. Random crashes and takes forever to get back up. The ui is horrible and does not update accurately. at times it says the server is "online" and you can't get logged into the game. The backup system set up does not work, I've tried multiple times to back up the server. They have limitations as to when you can do certain things like backing up, connecting via ftp and their support system is horrid. I've literally had one support guy after thy thought hey did all they could reply back to me rudely and ask "so what is the deal here? we've fixed everything so what's going on?" I was like "dude you're the support tech, you figure the sh-stuff out." So yeah do not use them.

Logic Servers I've used in the past with ark and dark and light. When there was a problem, which there were few of, they responded quickly and we got things working pretty quickly. .Unlike gportal that one day took the entire evening - like 5 hours to do anything!

Also I personally am looking into Nodecraft now. If you want to know how that goes when I set it up, please add me as a friend and I'll update you if you're curious.

But stayyyyyy away from gportal. I cannot stress that enough.
