Abandoned Quests Question

If you abandon a quest because you realize you're not quite up to that difficulty to work on lower level quests, can you go back to that quest later? It's not permanently inaccessible, is it? I don't think so, due to the multi-steps some of these quests stack from previous quests, but I just want to make sure before I actually do it.

Nothing is missable in this game. But I really don't remember, do Cat Quest 1 have the option to abandon a quest? CQ2 for sure...

Edit: oh yes, has it : D Use it without worries, and once a side-quest is abandoned you can keep leveling up as much as you want and then pick it up later, nothing will be lost.
