Streaming display error

My friend bought me this game on steam and all seems to work fine... but when I stream to twitch there's a black cloud filling the centre of the screen. It's definitely built into the game as the UI and menus display correctly. I can't find anyone else online having the same issue, and I've seen other people streaming it without issue ): any ideasa?
