Don't understand Mew Game

I have beaten Mew Game once and didn't get an achievement for it.

Guess I didn't keep track on which gear to use with the end battle.

I am now on my 2nd run through Mew Game and selected different modifiers, which also makes it harder: I didn't get Water Walking right away and I can't seem to find the quest for it, nor the quest that gives flying ability.

I think I selected Naked mode for this game, but how can I check?

I don't want to end up with hours and hours of semi waisted game play and beating the game again with no achievement!

I loved the main game, but going for the final achievement involves a lot of annoying grinding.

Anyway, would appreciate some help with understanding Mew Game and checking the settings before going into the end battle.

Open your menu with B and select the equipment tab if there is magic tab selected. Instead of all your equipments you should see a message about the naked modifier has been selected.

Erhmmmm.....I only see my armor and skill sets there, like it was in the normal game.......

I slowly and painfully reached level 55 now, can't get flying and water walking and have no idea if I selected things right

I am definitely playing Mew Game, but might be (again) with no achievement reward.....
I have the feeling I doing something really wrong, but have no idea what!

In your first screenshot there is a fox and a goat monster visible on the map. If you reach the same place and take a look around, do you see the exact same monsters? If your answer is affirmative then it should be again the regular gameplay, not Mew one.

I am pretty sure it is not the regular game play, as monsters are tougher and it started different with lines I couldn't cross untill I defeated the fiirst monster.

But.....could I be playing New Game + in stead of Mew Game?

If it was a New Game + you should get all your equipments, spells, levels, gold from your previous playthrough : ) Which language are you using in-game?

Edit: Nevermind the question about language, if you call it Mew Game then you are not using French, that is the only one I think it is using too much similar words.

I think I figured it out.....
I am playing with controller and normally A does select, but not with the modifiers.
So looks like I started Mew Game (for the 2nd time ) with NO modifiers selected!

Glad you figured it out : ) Anyway you should get waterwalk as soon as you kill your third opponent just outside of the temple. With that, "tutorial" is over, barriers get removed and you are free to do whatever you want ; ) But to obtain fly you must advance the main story line quite a lot, until a "bush" nearby the windmill will start posting on the quest board there, then you can access and complete all of the side quests there.

Weird thing is that on my 2nd try at Mew game I DIDN'T get the Water Walk potion, seems I hit a glitch there.

Yeah, guess I don't have to obtain Flying in order to finish the game.

Wait, you must obtain fly in order to finish the game ^^' Last dragon and access to zero dimension are both behind your reach without fly : ) And in order to unlock the achievement(s) you must finish the game ; )
