Water walking quest does not appear

The is no quest about water walking (and never has been) on the quest board where it should appear. I'm playing in German. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix. I'm now at Lvl 45, have done all quests on the mainland and cannot go on further without crossing water.

You need to move forward in the main story line to have some side-quests to appear.

Thanks; however, I believe that I have progressed as far as I can (no quests remaining anywhere on the mainland).

Once you get to fight your third dragon (on water) then the far west port city will get those side-quests you need. Immediately after will happen the same with the far north-east city too : )

thanks a lot -- I thought I could only fight that big dragon at the very end of the game; didn't realize that there were more. Now I can walk on water!
