How do i get the Old Master Set?
Hi to all. :ss13ok::cybereye:

So i'm about to give Mew-Game a try but just wondering what i need to do to get the Old Master Set achievement?

Is it just from searching Chests like the Equipment in the original version, or do i need to do something special?

Thanks in advance for any & all answers. :ss13ok::cybereye:

Its a reward for beating Mew Game with certain modifiers turned on. You can see which part of the armor you will get in the modifier select screen.
After beating the mode, it will be given to you at the end, you can't miss it!

Hi guys!!
I'm doing directly the Mew Game with 3 modifiers (lvl 1, 9 lives and harder enemies) after finishing the normal game yesterday; am i going to get the full set? or do i need to pass Mew Game with 1 modifier and 2 modifiers after to get the full set???
Ty in advance!

Yeh, i'm also wondering similar to the above question.

Can i play each Mew Game type seperately & get Old Master Set?
Eg. play Level One, then Naked Cat, then Nine Lives, then Stronger Enemys & get the Old Master Set?

Or do i need to play with more than 1 modifier game-type?

You will need to play it at least 3 times, cuz you only get 1 reward per playthrough.

You need to stack them, 1 modifier for the armor, 2 for the sword and 3 for the helmet.

So the rewards don't stack then?
Does that mean that the post below was wrong?

If you do a 3 modifier run, you will always get the helm, not the other items. So you always have to do at least 3 runs to get the full set

So does that mean that u can get all of the items by just doing a run with 1 different modifier 3 times?

eg. 1 run for Armour
1 run for Weapon
1 run for Helmet

Nope, just done the second run yesterday with 1 modifier and got the armor, then repeated it this morning and improved the level of the armor.

So the conclusion are:
1 run with 1 modifier u get the armor.
1 run with 2 modifiers u get the sword.
1 run with 3 modifiers u get the helmet.
If u finish another run with a number of modfiers already done it improves the level of ur item.

Good luck and have fun guys!

Hello guys,

I've just done 2 runs. The first one with 2 modifiers & the second one with 3 modifiers. And I didn't get any items. When I finished the runs, I went in a dark room with only a bright door. I think this is here you have the piece of armor. But there is nothing in it. And when I go out I'm back on general menu, nothing in my inventory when i'm back on the game.

Do you know any about this? Do I need to do runs in a special order to get the items? Thanks for the help.

You don't get the rewards if you choose Furry Armored as one of the modifiers. Was this the case for you?

I got a question in regards the modifiers.

Do they stop the moment you complete mew game? I just really wanna mess around the moment I officially beat the damn challenge. I don't wanna have to worry post game just because I died and lost my 9th life.

After you complete the main quest in Mew Game, the playthrough ends and you are allowed to start a new one. There is no post game in Mew Game.
