Final Boss is broken, bad.
I'm level 100, using the 600+dmg weapon and 600 hp armor. The final boss literally kills me in a couple hits and takes almost no dmg from attacks. Frustrating to play a game this thoroughly, only to have the last boss broken.

I'll try that, I've been dodging everything, and trying to only hit him when he casts "north/south" casts etc.

The Final Boss isn't broken at all. I did not have the Legendary Items and still managed to beat him first try. Dodging is the key!

I've seen youtube vids of people 30 levels below me kill him in a few swings. He has about a billion health when I fight him, at level 100, with legendary items. Super broken.

Your level doesn't mean much. What matters are fully upgraded spells and high level/stats gear. It's also about the right choice of spells/gear.

E.g. a fully updated ice spell will keep the enemy in place, add now a fully upgraded trap spell and you can watch their health go down from a safe distance. You only melee attack to refill your mana.
Also you don't need much health if you have high armor/shield, which - unlike health - regenerates over time.

The trap ability + kiting will guarentee a victory. Max that ability and kite him through those. I was surprised with how easy it was. LOL.

The strong versus weak attacks in this game doesn't follow any obvious patterns. Some spells will just kill you in one hit and yet a level 30 character can easily survive a Cattrap cast by the enemies in the Furbidden Field. I think the only attacks you can tank are the diagonals, ice, Cattrap, and melee swing. Everything else you must dodge.

All skills maxed, doesn't matter. He one shots me.

i beat him at lv 53

Yep, as I stated before, I've seen Youtube videos of him being easily beaten as low as 45. I'm 100, with max gear, max skills, and can harly even touch his hp bar - even with the ice/ground trap trick.

It was the same for me before the game glitched and he died without me doing anything at all. He was absolutely impossible to harm, and he killed me almost instantly

Wow I can't believe nobody has said this yet, especially since people (person?) keep saying "level doesn't matter": he clearly scales with your level. And the scaling is obviously making him harder at a higher level than at 55 or whatever the youtube guy did. Intentionally, maybe? So yes, level does matter. There have been multiple threads saying the same thing as this one. I did him at level 100, and he was hitting me like a truck. The guy in the video took 2 hits, and was at like 60% hp. I took 2 hits, and was at like 15-20%.

I had the Courage body armour, Dragonsbane, and the white mage hat. Max purrserk, trap spell, fire spell. Hit purrserk, run in, drop fire & trap, get out. If I needed mp, I'd run in, hit once, get out. Other than that, I just had to not get hit. I don't think it's impossible, but definitely harder than at 55.

Just did it at 79 wasn't hard for me I did die the first time after running straight at him off the bat, but second time just repeated freeze + trap couple times then he was dead.

Exactly my point. The boss scaling is broken as hell. If you kill at level 50-75 it's fairly easy. I didn't attempt it until I was level 100, cause I wanted to get everything else first and level some more. Little did I know that I was slowly making the last boss impossible.

We can confirm that there is no level scaling at all for the final boss.
