Beating Cathulhu generates no event.. Is it normal?

First, to beat Cathulhu, i froze him on a trap while he's imself spawning tons of traps, then again, and i wait a moment i feel right to gain stamina by hitting him, then i freeze him, then i set the trapped picks under him, then, gone. The first time, i was overwhelmed, the second time, i figured out a strategy but lacked accuracy and experience against him so i recovered at an inn, then, i've beat him the third time.

Tho, the cat guy who says "some people says Cathulhu has been seen there down the ocean" or something like that... Well, he still says the same thing after beating Cathulhu, but he's just a random NPC, and isn't related to a mission clipboard. Whatever it's called in English. (Played in French so i'm clueless how stuff's called in English)

So yeah. No big ruins of R'Lyeh under Cthulhu...

Talking about underwater ruins...

I haven't succeeded with the pirate treasure enygma. I went everywhere indicated, in the right order, spot after spot, then from the split between forest land and ice land, whatever it,S called in English, i went west, for a while, and never encountered anything uderwater. Did i miss something?

You must be walking on water to find the pirate's treasure, if you are flying the message for it won't pop-up even if you are exactly in the right spot.

For the exact spot I cannot be more accurate but if you are exactly in between the last two waves on the west side and continue west a bit more, you should find it before the upper wave disappear from your sight (I really hope this may give you a clue) ^^' Otherwise search for some screenshots on the web for the exact spot : )

And congratulations for Cathulhu : D He just will respawns next time you load, like the floating skulls in the Furbidden area, no side quests involved : )

haha nice i'll try that! About Cathulhu, i've beat him around level 85. With the purple sword and the heroic kit that the lion guy gives us bottom half later in the game. Both spells were maxed.
