In light of the latest development (regarding the behaviour of the dev announcing the EGS-Exclusivity), i thought it would be nice to show that there are similar games in cue for release. Might be worth to look at them. Also, since the reddit forum got locked down by the dev, pls consider posting more alternatives you're aware of in this thread, so they're easier to find for everyone.

True, but some of us have had this game on our Wishlist for years. So when that happens you don't really look for more games since you want the one you already know about and are planning on playing.

Seconded on Slime Rancher. It has a huge world to explore and the slimes are adorable.

Any suggestions for monster raising/battling? I played the crap out of Outernaughts and Terra Monsters back when they were on Kongregate and I'm hoping Tem Tem turns out good.

I'm so thankful for all the game suggestions being given out in this forum! I was really bummed when I heard the epic exclusive announcement because I've been looking forward to it for years, since I first saw it at PAX. After seeing how toxic the devs and their discord is I wouldn't want to buy from them even after the exclusivity deal was up. When I saw people had posted so many other alternatives, half of which I hadn't heard of, it made me feel so much better. Talk about a silver lining on the cloud.

Most of my favorite PC farming games are mentioned already but I also enjoyed this one:
