Sipres Counter Mod issues: Switch to NATo when zoom out

Hey! I installed a slightly changed version of the SIPRES Unit counter mod and it works fine, until I zoom out to a medium perspective. Then it changes into NATO counter symbols. Is this a known issue? Any help would be appreciated.

"The zoom version of counters are Natos symbols, since the size is too small to display elaborate graphics."
