Dungeon Painter Studio

Sci-fi and Cyberpunk Assets
Hey Guys,

First of all, I really like this Software, it’s great for building Fantasy-Maps. But I would love to see more Updates for modern Maps. Things like concrete vehicles and stuff like that, especially because I use this Tool primarily for Shadowrun Maps.

What do you guys think?

Greetings

Seconded, I've been eying this program for a Starfinder campaign I'm hosting, and more sci fi stuff would be great.

I may opt to make some assets myself if push comes to shove, even.

Thirded (That's a thing right)

I love this program and everything that can be done with it. That said, I'd also like for less crashes. I've been finding that even high end gaming computers suffer crashes every thirty minutes or so.
Really? I Used it for 5 Hours and didn't have any crashes.

Fourthed. Yeah, I have 32GB of RAM and it crashes constantly. I understand it's in very early access so hopefully they work out those kinks soon.

I think it would be really powerful if they made a feature where you can switch between floors or decks of a starship that you can easily alternate between, with each floor/deck having its own separate set of layers. Hopefully that's in the works.

Yes! Get some modern and scifi tiles in and it'd be a straight 10/10 from me.

You guys do know it's pretty easy to add your own assets to DPS, right? There are a lot of them around, especially on Roll20 and DrivethruRPG. My personal favorites are Gabriel Pickard and Heroic Maps, both of which are on DrivethruRPG.

Yes and I already have a lot of 3rd party assets. Thank you for the suggestions friend :47_thumb_up:.
My reasoning is just if they realize their users want stuff other than medieval fantasy, they may decide to add features to the program that cater to modern/sci-fi settings that don't apply as much to fantasy settings. If they decide it's a medieval-only program, it limits the future outlook of the game for such features. Plus, it would just be nice to have some generic vanilla modern/sci-fi assets.

I specifically got this program to do maps for my Starfinder campaign. While there's not a whole lot to go with it, there are some... I want more, however. More for ship designing, more for everything. I have infinite worlds to create, now... No pressure, eh? :D
