Background Images
Is there a way to import a background image to use as a reference?

Never mind. Found it as soon as I posted. Now, how do I get the "template" onto the map? I tried dragging, double-clicking, casting bones and feathers over fire, but nothing works.
You should be able to drag it like a rectangle I believe, but it's been a long time since I've done anything with templates. I normally import them as objects instead.
When I re-booted the machine, something must've shaken loose. Click once on the template. The mouse pointer turns into a little ball. Click in one of the corners (upper left) and hold down the LMB and drag.
And what was the solution to get a background image?

Choose template tool (last on the main toolbar)
click import template and find your background image,
click on the canvas to start painting and click another time to finish.
You may enter the edit mode to change the template size.
