Exporting to 1 inch by 1 inch grid size?
I realized after creating my first map with this, that when I export it and go to print, the map is not sized right to be used as a battle map for my D&D game. Not sure if its possible or how to if it is. Anyone know if its possible how to export the map so the grid comes out in 1 x 1 inch squares for a grid map?

I have never used the pdf export, but one of the options there is 1 inch by 1 inch. Is that not accurate? Or are you trying to do it with the png export? I recommend using the pdf export if it's the latter.

For print, use export to PDF, it allows to select cell size and paper type, and it shows how your map will be sliced on sheets.

I usually export to image with a size of 72 pixels - fits perfectly :) I then paste my maps onto SRA3 paper using InDesign and slice the maps myself according to where I want it to be slized - but that only works because I work in a print office :)

72 pixels/inch is screen resolution, it's not best choice for paper.
DPS maximum resolution is 200, so if you print your maps from png,
it's better to export it with this value.
You may change png dpi in graph editors, for example how it looks in Photoshop

The easiest way to print map from DPS just export it to pdf.
