There are other virtual tabletops that can be used as well, but I believe that is the primary direction of this tool is exporting pngs for use in virtual tabletops or printing for physical tabletops.
Roll20 squares are 70px. When you export, this program will ask you what size you want each square to be. There are buttons you can click for common tabletop services, for example you can just press "Roll20" button and it will set it to 70px. This makes the maps fit perfectly for Rol20.
The program's current assets are limited, as it's still in early access, but pyro is adding more and more almost every day. I don't think it's unreasonable to say that this program is better for making indoor maps, but it's not impossible to make outdoor ones.
A download can be found here -> http://steamcommunity.com/app/592260/discussions/0/133258593384341115/ <- with 3,000+ new textures and objects, including a ton of new grass, dirt, sand, etc terrain textures. This should at least help with making outdoor maps. This is an INCOMPLETE collection - I only got part way through it before I had to take a break, but other members of this community are working on finishing it.
