Windowed mode resolution changed after new patch

I prefer to play in windowed mode with window taking only part of the screen. After last patch windowed mode defaults at 1920x1080 and that's too huge and uncomfortable for me - part of the game window gets obscured when I move it to see the things I need. Please, add an option to change the screen size when people play in windowed mode or let us choose the resolution in settings or before launching a game.

Well, I just found a minute ago where the resolution is saved in regedit, so was just a little late to trying the fix out before update was reverted. Works fine now and in case it happens again I now potentially know how to fix it myself.

Hey so this isn't for the faint of heart, but I only figured this out after finding this thread. I have the Epic Games version of Animation Throwdown but I assume this works in Windows for both.

To switch between full screen and windowed mode, press "Alt + Enter" while it's active.

If you make it windowed, and you can't resize it (it takes up the whole screen anyway) you can edit your registry:

Make sure the game is closed

Only do this if you know what you're doing in editing the registry:

Go to: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Chinzilla, Inc.\Throwdown

Look for key: Screenmanager Fullscreen mode_h###: Set to 3

Screenmanager Resolution Height set to whatever (I set it to 768 or 300 hex)

Screenmanager Resolution Width set to whatever (I set it to 1024 or 400 hex)

Next time you load the game it should be windowed at that resolution.

There's a much simpler fix. Right click on the game in your Steam library, select properties, and then under the general tab, in the "launch options" box type the following:

-screen-width 1440 -screen-height 900 -screen-fullscreen 0

That example would set your windowed mode to 1440x900. You can change those numbers to suit whatever dimensions you want.

I would love windowed mode on my big wide screen. I use 34k res and it full screen is great and all, though sometimes i got to look out for calls from family and friends.
