can anyone confirm if linking a kongegrate account breaks the pvp achievements?
almost everyone has it at 1/5, and around the same time the game asks you to link an account?

As far as the Achievements. My wife and I have played this game for over a year and a half, have a deck made of entirely Mythic and Legendary rares without so much as a single blue card or lower in either of our decks and I personally just hit level 15 with Louise (It is far easier just to use a basic Avatar over spending a great deal of money to upgrade a slighly better one).

The answer to your question is that there are at least two or three of those achievements that won't trigger, no matter what you do as my wife and I have long since did them entirely already. As the game is truly broken (funny how KotH and Cripple gets all of the love but the rest of the shows and Punch are grossly lacking or flat out broken in dealing damage) but somewhat fun still to play for a tidbit of time each day...just cheat them in if you honestly finished them via the

Steam Achievement Manager -https://www.filecroco.com/download-steam-achievement-manager/

It is safe to use, no VAC ban for using it that I ever heard of and I personally only use it to "Fix" broken achievements that I have long since earned to trigger.

....proof of my point. I Onixed even the hardest of the levels, I have truly reached level 15 and the achievents didn't trigger. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/793111660697167644/E76CAC89C999F8787F9F347E79442A7473A06B66/

That's not what breaks them. Those 3 actually never unlocked as they should have

I'm pretty scared to use SAM but I might have to give it a go after I get all the other achievements, kind of messed up to achievement hunters that they have incompletable games like this, messes up the percentages :(((

I wouldn't be, it is Steam legal but I understand your point. "I" try not to use it but I have "Seen" others who do if it helps. Although I'm also not a drug user or a 'hacker' for what it is worth, it is LEGAL to do research upon how it works but it is NOT legal to do it.

Same here and I wish you well with your research...just that a lot of people do. I would have a 'guilt' to cheat to win in a competition or to use SAM without a broken award being given when I earned it but at least it is an option that you didn't have before.

It just bothers me far more to "EARN" an achievement and not get it than to just pass on the achievement to begin with...it is often a lot of work for a few of them and to not have it trigger is a bit like being 'robbed' of your time...it is only fair.

I encourage you not to use SAM. Sure, you won't get a vac-ban (edit: unless a certain game uses this anti-cheat system), but you might not wanna do that if you're into competitive achievement hunting. Otherwise, if you're registered on any of those, you will probably be marked as a cheater & your profile will be invalidated But those are 3rd parties, I don't know if you care about earning achievements that much,
Besides above, this is screwing with the overall percentage of achievement unlocks. If you look at the achievements page of this game, you'll know exactly what % of players used SAM to unlock the pvp achievements.
Also it might give developers the idea that achievements aren't broken at all & discourage them from fixing what doesn't unlock as intended.

yeah that is what is holding me back, I kind of maybe rather have the achievements not unlocked, and be legit instead of having more completed titles who actual other hunters know it's cheated, completely destroys one's credibility

True and I hear both you as well as the one beforehand.

I won't add in the achievements unless they are truly broken like this one. Tempting as it is, I think a great deal of the achievements in games should be earned but I just won't grant the satisfaction toward "Kongregate" for flat out ignoring Steam after it launched here.

It is my way of 'breaking even' with the amount that my wife and I have spent in this game within the last two years and screw Kongregate for expecting way too much for way too little.

-----------------

As far as what others think though, I am a happily married person with two kids and I have long since stopped caring, at all, on what a few people who still do play this game off of Steam so much as care what I think...as I won't care if it differs from mine at all or will ever know them at all.

Someone could call me a cheater for flat out fixing a broken system, I truly don't care but I will 'reward' myself for something that I earned and it is only right to do so, if you feel that way...if not, thats okay as well but it isn't like I care what someone who would argue with me later one would think, whatsoever though.
