Could we please be able to duel a friend?
Even if the matches award nothing, this feature is truly needed to be able to just log on and battle my wife or child instead of just seeing online people. In one of the challenges, you go second (you still attack first though, but you don't have to be able to attack first and all...) so this is possible but I would love to play against family.

Is multiplayer even an idea that may happen or is this pretty much going to be a single player game, as it is now? If it is single player, I am perfectly okay with that and thanks for the game the way it is but I wouldn't mind to have some "Frosting on this cake" though.

You can actually practice against someone in your guild via the guild menu. So if your friends/family are in the same guild, you can battle their decks.

Live PVP may be considered in the future, but is not in a current roadmap.

Fair enough. One last question though and my wife asked me this when a bug stopped me from going further and she lost a little interest for the game. So, how old is this game anyways and is there a page that talks about the 'mid' future for this game?

just some input on the live pvp wise, it should be optinal since if its full live that means less players in the arena, which would lower the amount of players in it.
i say this after playing cards and castles on steam which is live based pvp game.
were at times you can find an match at others its an waiting game.

though an option on side for live pvp would be fun, downside i just recalled would be the quick quitters among other problem types, so best would be friend based for some.

I agree but even if it is only for your actual Steam friends, that would be fine by me. But I found out that you can battle your guildmates so I could be worst.

Still though, I find that I can control my game far better than when I sit back and watch the computer play my game but at least it is something if it submitted. I don't know, maybe play 5 games each and see how the entire stats rank up from both PC's on the win/loss ratio, maybe?

battling guildmates <3 that was an fun thing to do.
ive let the npc take over few times for me, except they were no chance of winning via an later chapter i hit, koh japan gah things went insane, think chap 19-20
but i think the npc can do pretty well if it draws the right cards at the right time.
i say this as im being repeatly beat via challange and adventure later on now after winning streaks lol.

It isn't like the PC is bad, in fact it isn't. I just saw a few bad moves in the past and if given the choice, I would just play using my own decisions is all.

yeah x.x gotta wonder how its programmed and why it makes those moves.
possibly to save better cards, or hp from being damaged is what my guess is sorta.

The defacto standard for my playstyle at least is to have the first character as strong offensively as I possibly can to take out as many of the cmputers primary attacker before they can attack me and build up but my second and third sets that are right after my primary need to heal, help, add to, and the like to my primary and even knowing the attack strength is nice, it isn't as important.

Well, the computer doesn't get this and I have watched while idling that my primary character dies way too easily so the computer can build up my third and not going into combat character...which is a bad choice is all.

yeah there ive seen them use that strategy using 3 diff chars over using combos to build up the 1st.
could be the autoplayer uses an different style then the npcs and arena do.
guessing room for improvement as they say.
