(Try to research the best combos 1st and the ones you dont need or arent worth it you are going to start to research once you have researched everything so far and have nothing else to research. If you do it like this, you will gain an advantage over people who dont. When i started last year in September i wished there would have been something like this site. Would have saved me some time researching crappy combos you wont want to use anyway. ^^)
@Bud
No. Theres no advantage on the long run if you choose a hero and your cards from a specific show. (This wont bring you far, only if you spend big) There are so many cards and combos now, variety is a good thing. If you're f2p there is still the same heroes you should focus on. For Attacking Bobby/Tina and for Defending Dale/Roger (Fry/Brian).
I completely agree.

Oh no, I didn't mean every card, just for using the "Hero" of the major of your deck. For instance, I have a "Peggy" and a bunch from "Bobs Burgers" in my deck but my deck is mostly "American Dad" so I use "Steve" and his benefits solely for American Dad characcters has saved my butt several times over.
btw. thats also what i meant. When your deck is mostly American Dad, thats also not a good choice to begin with. It really depends...you also shouldnt have/use any greys/greens at all. And blues are also not worthy anymore like they used to after the purple card buffs a few weeks ago.
For instance, Stan is the worst blue charakter card to combo now with.
When you're in a (top/good) guild, people will also help you with your deck (decisions). They can help you understand why and so on - experience.. ;)
No, I am up to Blues and Purples now but I just like what I can do with Stan and Francine. Since I am not interested in being the absolute best in the game but just among the top 1,000 eventually. I just want to not play with the defacto cardset is all.
But I sound like I don't agree with you when I do. I love Bob from Bob's Burgers and how he adds to my deck but I am completely disappointed on how 'meh' "Peggy" turned out to be. I'm sorry, but Paddling Peggy isn't the greatest combo and I see that "Bob" mixed with "Bluntsball" beats the Legendary Peggy/Rifle combo even with the direct damage (Punch) done.
I still loose, but as I am around 40-60 hours into the game, I am doing quite well and I am defeating decks in the arena that, judging by the hitpoints, are far more experienced than I am.
As a whole though, I try my best to focus on Punch cards to grant as much damage as I can to more than just the card that I am attacking and my typical match end between the 5th and 7th rounds.
To finish, my win percentage in both the Arena and in Adventure is around 80-90%. I am sure that there are better decks...but this one works for me well. To finish with the arena talk though, I kept updating the decks that go against and I am now getting 1,000 coins per each win now.
There are also new good combos, even for peggy, with the new skills, bodyguard e.g.. And if you focus on punch "only" - bodyguard will block punch skill.
I like Bob, too. But with the current disguised bge i also have better cards and have no use for him anymore, at the moment..
Bob + Golden Turd is important in Rumble for healing.
Oh, the Golden Turd was my first Blue card to be honest with you. I love that card and my current deck runs three of them and I am trying to upgrade them to the next tier as they are already maxed without fusing them.
I spent only $15 on this game and like hell I will spend much more so I am trying to earn stuff toe recycle to craft up my line before I fuse many more cards together. But yeah, I am winning 90% of my duels and I have completed the daily set of 10 Arenas with a 100% completion rate.
There is a few mild parts in my deck but I am trying to figure out exactly what it is as I don't want to run the same four or five cards and nothing but those but I want to have a working diversity in my working and NON competitive deck that I am using as my primary deck.
It just that I do not care at all about competing for the top 100 for golden turds.
------------------------
Lastly, my wife bragged that she was granted her first Golden Turd but I would rather complete the map to 100% completion than to worry about getting a Turd or two when you need 1000 for a simple card and she just got a single turd in her fight.
Is there a better way to get "Free" turds or if you are toward the end of the map, do you get more of them for a win? A thousand needed when she only has three seems a bit much for a simple card doesn't it?
Didnt she get the 2500 golden turd coins for free when they introduced it? Maybe you both started too late. ;) Cos everyone was able to bought 2 cards immediately and then 500 left for the 3rd.
About the blue card, golden turd. fyi, it doesnt make much sense to upgrade the card to 5**. 5* is ok cos it will only gain your combined card 1-2 more skills and also 1-2 more attack/health.
You see, it doesnt justify to upgrade to 5**. So i would save those GW.
And if you can upgrade the card to 5* at least i would do that asap. Single unfused cards are too weak. I'd also say that 3 golden turds cards in your deck is too much. Combo with Bob (block+heal) and Stan (motivate/leech) already is mainly for defense, not attacking. Only to name two.
Long story short - Golden Turd issnt a good card to combo with. It will also use mostly the "rich" trait which there wasnt even once a bge about it.
Like I said earlier, I am trying to complete the game's quest mode to 100% so I am getting the huge purple stars and I am all the way up to the "Stewie Steroids" map area on Island 16 now. I was wondering about the upgrading so highly though. I mean an extra point here or a new skill there is nice but to spend 100+ Giggity Watts is just ubsurd but only around now am I losing higher than 1 out of every 10 so I am doing it.
I am thinking of making a custom deck just for the "Challenges" as the whole goal in some o those is to take out the opponent as fast as possible before (s)he spawns the same creature over and over...and over and in that mode, support cards don't work nearly as well as they should as they will quickly be under attack and I would like to put in more heavy hitters to take the first card out before it can so much as attack though. In that mode, extra characters after your main that are holding Punch's are extremely nice to have.
Even knowing I have done it, it is extremely uncommon to come back from behind to win if your opponent has more than you out and are constantly producing a heavy hitter each and every turn for free when you need to combine to catch up to their new card on average.
---------------------------
But in that mode and even with me being quite new to this game, I am breaking the 30,000 mark out of 200,000 prices. I just won't see the "Golden Turd" that way for quite some time is all.
Its also wiser sometimes to lay another card instead of combo'ing one which probably would get killed in 1-2 rounds anway. So you can win from behind where you "maybe" can make a good combo from behind with craze or something where your opponent has no chance to kill it.
I'm not using a single theme. I mainly use Futurama but other cards too as Rifle
Oh there is no debate on that one. I will even go so far as to make my starter be as strong but definenetly as tough as 's'he can be. But it is the support that often ends duels for me but as I said earlier, my matches are almost always over by the seventh turn with being two combinations and maybe a third one unless I can't pull that off.
If I know for sure, that my starter is going under, I spend my one card drop to buff up the character who needs it the most to attack and accept that the primary was lost
and rush to finish the level.
Speaking of which, I would just LOVE a mulligan option where you can throw away your hand and to be fair, how about giving one less card back like "Magic - The Gathering" does? It is seldom but on that one match that I typically lose on, it is when I pull nothing but support cards and nothing to attack with.
Speaking of which, I completely agree but to see how dumb the computer is, watch 'it' play your deck on auto and see how many matches you will either lose or barely win when you could have won easlily. Then think about how this works on the other side when you battle it for a hard level or what not.
Yeah I totally see that, but it just goes back to how the computer plays "your" deck if the "Arena" opponents are real opponents and to think how YOUR deck will play when it is added to the Arena for others to play against.
