Real Names and images patch
This game is a lot better if you apply the Real Names and the Images patches from wbmfiles weebly com

For steam version, the correct path to install the Images Patch is not the one on the website but this: "Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/World Basketball Manager 2/resources/imagesets"

I have placed the patch in the folder, but it doesn't seem to work? how do I make it work?

First of all make sure that you download the correct file. There are Mac and Windows files and some older version files also. Then just follow the instructions on the webpage.
For steam version the paths are like this:
Real Names Unzip inside: "C:\Users\YOUR-USER-NAME\Documents"
Images Unzip inside: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\World Basketball Manager 2\resources\imagesets"

Can you please help me, i have a mac, and im having so much trouble installing the file? - specifically the real names patch, thats all. Thanks

I think this is the correct way to install for macOS
1. Download from wbmfiles . weebly . com/downloads-for-mac-version . html
2. Unzip the file
3. Place WBM2 folder inside "Documents"
4. Let it replace any existing WBM2 folder (it will NOT delete any old saved games)

Can anybody help me out? Ive tried all the steps and it still doesnt work on my Mac.

Here's what worked for me with Win and it may not be the smartest or most efficient, but end result it worked.
1. I started with a fresh install and created a base game (new).
2. I used the "Old Downloads" link https://wbmfiles.weebly.com/old-downloads.html, as I couldn't get the WBMX versions to work with WBM2 (which makes sense). If you want the latest roster/graphics content, it appears you have to purchase his modestly priced mod.
3. Follow the instructions (web and .txt in zip file are the same)
4. Most important: MUST start a NEW game. Then the updates take effect. I then just deleted the old game.
