How do i use the fidget spinner

I figured it out, you have to flick the control stick in the opposite direction you're holding it. Not sure if this is actually how you do it, but after a few flicks I finally got it going pretty fast and unlocked it.

I can't figure it out either. I tried the control stick but it's spinning at 0.00001 km/h speed.
