Taphouse VR
Can't teleport at all using thumbstick
As the topic says, I literally cannot move around. Using Oculus Rift S, software/firmware up-to-date. The game loads and runs fine; I just can't do anything. I can't move around. Anyone have a workaround for this issue? If not, I'm afraid I'll have to request a refund.

Hey, I just wanted to let you guys know, the teleport works fine (as it was implemented). I misinterpreted the instructions because most games require you to push the stick *forward* and place a landing zone indicating where you're going to teleport; I didn't realize I had to actually push the thumbstick button in. So the game works fine, but I would like to say, I do hate this mode of teleporting, and if it's at all possible, I really think you should implement the more conventional and widely accepted method of movement. I also don't like having to hold the thumbstick in when selecting menu items; why can't we just point and click like every other game? It's a hundred times easier.

Now that I've figured it out, I'm really enjoying the game. Thank you! Please let me know if you would consider implementing more comfortable movement and menu selection; I'd gladly pay money for this.

Question: is it possible to grab the fish out of the hot tub? Didn't work for me. Just curious!

Also, is there a way to mark this topic as solved? I'd rather not delete the entire discussion.

How can you refund a free game? We kid. We don't have a Oculus Rift S at the office, so we don't officially support it due to Taphouse VR using VRTK instead of SteamVR. Please tell us if you can get it working though!

Ha! I forgot it's free. Sorry about that. I'll do some googling and let you know if I find a workaround. Thanks for the reply!
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Hi! Thank you so much for your feedback. I can't promise we can fix anything due to our rocky situation (see: https://catland.studio/blog/schrodingers-catland/) but we definitely appreciate the feedback and are glad that you found a way to fix your problem!

Sadly, you can't grab the fish. You can, however, shake cola cans really hard to turn them into grenades. Happy holidays!
