Graphics reduce screen size and display nothing but white

When I launch the game it loads and I hear it in the background but the only thing that happens is a white screen after it shrinks the size of my screen. I can understand that but it's frustrating when the game does not load and just plays the music causing my screen to just shrink and I can't even play it.
I'm running windows 10 with a AMD Athlon(tm) X4 880K CPU and Radeon RX 560 GPU with 12GBs of ram.
Is it possible to start the game in windowed mode to get around this problem?

Press f, it will switch between full screen and windowed. I hope it fixes the issue..
