Xbox One Controller: Triggers not working

I tested on other steam games and triggers worked, but now on Hyper Universe they dont. Lost a match because I couldnt use my Ult nor the second ability.

I restarted my PC and now every 2 seconds the game asks if I want to use the controller and I cant play anymore.

0/10 wouldnt play again

Yes, I was playing with controller before but now since the last update hours ago I cant play with my controller.
I restarted again and now the game dont even recognize my controller. I can play other steam games with it.

Gotcha, can you go into Documents > HyperUniverse >Settings_En and delete the JoystickSettings.ini and repair your Steam files? Let me know if that helps!

Two files (20 MB total) started downloading again, lets see if it works now

Now its worse, I can't even launch the game, its frozen on Resetting security module when I launch it.

Now I tried the repair stuff again and its downloading the same 2 files (20 MB total) again. I'm tired trying to fix this game, if your next responde doesn't fix it, i'll uninstall it.

It downloaded the two same files again and then I restarted my PC to see if it helped. It didn't. Stuck at Resetting security module... then when I closed the game due to 5 minutes stuck, the NEXON GAME SECURITY badge on the corner is still up, even when I'm writing this post it is still on my corner.

I click on NEXON GAME SECURITY and Windows 10 makes a system noise like an unclickable item.

Hmmm ok, if you're having issues with getting past Resetting Security Module, that is either your Windows Defender or anti cheat. Can you please disable both and relaunch?

EDIT: Go into your task manager and kill all instances of Nexon Game Security as well.

Ok, managed to make the game work, I needed to leave the NEXON GAME SECURITY to download stuff while open, the game launched but I still can't use Xbox One Controller triggers (LT, RT)

It's your problem now, my other steam games recognize the triggers and it's configured to use Xinput on settings. Your update broke the trigger recognition.

On a side note, the triggers are configured as Z axis on Windows 10, not as buttons, so if your update tried to fix some controller issues, maybe you touched something that shouldn't be touched.

Edit: When mapping joystick buttons, it doesn't even recognize the triggers, it isn't that they are not mapped, they just don't work inside the game, are disabled.

temp fix change setting to steampad, same buttons and triggers work but on screen prompts are different. at least i can play for now. good game btw :)
