Game doesn't launch on linux Mint 19
Hello,
Just bought and downloaded the game. It doesn't start and there is the following Steam error message:
GameAction [AppID 591380, ActionID 1] : LaunchApp failed with AppError_28 with "/altro/share/share/SteamLibrary2/steamapps/common/Bomb Squad Academy/BSA.x86_64"

I checked the content of that folder and indeed it is available only the file BSA.x86 (and another folder called BSA_Data).

Hope you can help!

Hi Jean,
After today update I was able to start the game but I get only a yellow/orange screen with a golden mouse pointer with music in the background. I can click around and, if I hit an invisible button, I can change the screen color; sometimes it flashes but nothing more...
I have to kill the game to quit it.

In the Steam log I have found this sospicious message:
...
Preloaded 'ScreenSelector.so'
Preloaded 'libCSteamworks.so'
Preloaded 'libsteam_api.so'
Unable to preload the following plugins:
ScreenSelector.so
libCSteamworks.so
libsteam_api.so
...

This is my Player.log:

Let me know if I can try something...
Thank you!

After reading this post, I could solve the problem by adding -show-screen-selector to the launch options.

When opened via the terminal, "unable to preload following plugins: [...]" is still shown, so that isn't the problem.

Thank you Hockdudu!
The -show-screen-selector parameter solved the problem also for me!

+1, grabbed the game orange screen. Came to poke around the forums and voila -show-screen-selector did the trick.

Same here (Ubuntu 16), bought it today, just Orange screen. After adding -show-screen-selector in the launch options it all works fine.

@tripqzon right click the game name in the Steam list and select "Properties". In the General tab (the first shown) you will see s "Set launch option" button: click it and insert "-show-screen-selector" without "...
Hope it helps...

Sorry it took so long to reply. Been so busy that I haven't had time to do much of any gaming. Thank you though. Appreciate the help.
