How to add features to car?

So i've researched a lot of features but can't find a way to add them to my car?

they get added as 'upgrades' to the individual slots. Hovering voer a completed upgrade research item will let you know where in the production line it should be applied. Its done on an individual basis for each slot of that type.

For some reaoson, mine aren't being added. Do we need to do something? Do we have to have specialty installatin or something?

None of my features show in any of the areas (fit body, fit engine, accessories, etc)

My completed cars still show that they are missing. Also, my completed cars don't list anything that I have extra. Should that happen?

I think something is wrong or I'm doing something wrong.

I have about twenty of the features unlocked and it doesn't seem like they're installing.

OK so you will notice that there are + icons representing the ability to open a drop down for each slot catagory

MOST of the feature additions require you to be using the specific slot rather than the initial ones which cover all components for that part of the car.

You must first research the "specialization" catagories in the research tree and then you will be able to build these.

Once built, you must then select the slot and upgrade the machine to allow for adding the feature to the car.

That makes sense. It's dumb, but I understand it.

They need to give a bit better direction for this stuff. :)
