Not recommended but more middle thumb than down thumb.

This game plays the Epic Card Game fine. It is more a mobile app ported to Steam than the other way around (despite the fact that it was developed for Steam first). It has a campaign that puts a very light wrapper around a series of 15 matches where you are not able to customize your deck. They have two difficulties. It took around 5 hours to play through both levels. The story's only job is to resolve your last opponent and introduce your next one.

The Epic Card Game itself is pretty fun to play with for a bit, but this game plays a lot better in paper with real people where you can do drafts and other formats. It's a fine enough game but the Steam version has no soul.

If you have 5 hours and want to try the game, the campaign is fine. The vs AI is also fine but you will have figured out the AI's tendencies by then which starts to trivialize the game.
