Is there a bug with this achievment or a special requirement? I have played the last level 3 times now and grinded artillery kills in the first level for nearly an hour now and nothing.
Does the game only register direct hits?

No, haven't played the game in a while and gave up on it. Might try again and update.

This achievement is broken.
The stat for it ''artillery_kills'' doesn't add anything on any build of the game.
I even completed the final level using only the artillery gun to kill everything.

That can't be either since 3% of players according to Steam do have the achievement unlocked.

Another possibility is that these users have gotten the achievement with a Steam Achievement Manager.
