I think its absence has something to do with copyright-hell, I could be wrong though.

Ah I didn't look into who has the copyrights for it since I thought if you bought the Film rights you'd get all the films

Depends on the genre and publishers, etc. unfortunately. Same reason it's rather hard to get a "complete" collection of Godzilla movies. In Germany they're split between two or three publishers.

Just checked my DVDs, and at least in case of Germany Innocence seems indeed to be owned by a different publisher (Universum/UFA vs. Panini on other GitS stuff). Could be different in other regions though.

I can't find Innocence in iTunes, Netflix, or Hulu (plus Steam, obviously). This is crazy. Come on, licensing/copyright people. Get this taken care of!

The classic Netflix. They have it on DVD and Blu-ray. Their mail rental service is a far better, more comprehensive source of movies. I only use the streaming Netflix because of a few TV shows.

Though I can't watch it on Steam.(Because of the copyright problem,Steam can't.watch Cartoon, Movie.in China),I Still want to buy it.
