Learn to fly are fun games, but on Steam? It better have some new unseen non-browser friendly content.

But didn't they make proper Steamworks integration? At least it isn't that lazy made in terms of just porting and be done. There are mobile, alpha, Greenlight scams and all different type of shovelware games on Steam, it isn't like browser games do much of a difference there.

What is the problem with that ? they are game, GAAAAAAME, steam is a platform for game, more game = more choice for more people, not everyone like the same game, what is the problem with that seriously this is retarded...

When you are on steam you can choose! Play a game or Not, Buy a Game or not.... Steam doesn't force you to pay for a game if you don't want to buy it or play it just don't... you can say the game sux or everything but saying the game shouldn't be on steam this is retarded

learn to fly 3 for steam is a terrible port, even though it had lots of time to prepare itself for steam it lacks many things that make a good standalone game like resolution and window options, it feels like the devs dont know what they're doing and rushed onto steam because steam is where all the success is at.

just play it on kongregate.

People are complaining about a game, available to download on a platform dedicated to games ok,

the game runs fine to me, and I have a potato pc, the port is decent and I played both versions

I would agree on that, the lag in menu/options f.e. is a straight PITA and real, i've tried the browser one and it didn't have such issues.

I can understand the frustration about the lack of a window mode and poor performance on max resolution (even with a top tier CPU). We see it and we don't like it neither.
We know about that problem but can't really solve it because it's a thing with flash (vector based graphics are expensive on fullscreen and the game wasn't ment to be published for steam at beginning).
There were some attempts to optimize the game for a fullscreen mode but after all, the rendering mechanics of flash are not working that well out for vector graphics scaled to fullscreen.

I am not even gonna argue with that, I have the same opinion about that but still there is no reason to start going agressive.
While we do allow critics and are open for feedback this thread doesn't lead anywhere (It's either just "your port sucks" or "leave the game alone, it's free after all"). I'm going to close it to prevent further insults within the community.

If you're not happy with the performance: It's completly fine (and I understand it). Feel free to play the browser versions of the game or just leave it at all.
If you still can live with lower quality (you can set the resolution lower in the options) then keep playing it on steam.

Let everyone decide for him/her self and don't force your opinion on other people please :)

The only thing I can promise is that future games will be better optimized because they won't be developed in flash anymore.
