What happens at the End?

Hello! Quick question for those that know: Right at the end, after the credits, you have to pour one final shot. I wasn't allowed to deliver the shot until I put in the memory sweeper pill, and got Amnesia, leaving a really sour taste in my mouth (Poor Donovan!). What happens if you don't have any pills left at the end? Does Akara give you more if you run out?

I used up all the pills during the game and at the end, there was one again.
I like to imagine that the last drink was four you, the player and not for Donavan. Maybe to motivate you to play again or something. I think it would be sad if Donavan forgot

I get the idea is for you to replay the game. However that stupid pottering part of the game will forever keep me from playing this again until we can skip it ;c
